A Private Operations Office
Senior executive support and systems strategy for founders, executives, and high-net-worth individuals.
One experienced person who runs the operational layer - so you don’t have to.
Hi, I’m Kathy Layne.
For 19 years I’ve done one thing: senior-level executive support. I don’t work from a task list. I run a standing system.
This is what I call a Private Operations Office: one person (me) who holds the full context of your preferences, network, calendar, and recurring friction points - and handles it, quietly.
Most of my client relationships are measured in years, not months. I’m still working with a client who first hired me in 2008.
I also take on well-defined short-term engagements when the fit is right.
What Sets This Work Apart
Most executive support is reactive and fragmented. Mine is designed to be anticipatory and continuous.
I maintain a living operational picture of each client’s priorities, preferences, key relationships, and places where things keep getting stuck. That context allows me to spot gaps early and act without constant re-briefing.
I also understand that executive-level support requires the highest levels of discretion and professional judgment. Every interaction reflects your standards and maintains complete confidentiality.
Who I Work With
People who want a true operational partner, not just a task executor. They have enough on their plate that a task list isn’t the answer. They need a system, and someone who owns it.
How I work
I intentionally keep a small client roster. That’s how this relationship stays useful over years, instead of restarting every month.
